Response to Recent Bullicides

A 10-page letter from the Secretary of Education arrived at schools districts across the country on October 26, 2010. It addresses bullying and reminds schools that they must have policies in place to protect their students. It also says some bullying violates federal law. It included a warning that failure to adequately address the problem will put school districts in violation of anti-discrimination laws.
