Joey Brown


Joey Brown is a two-time Emmy award winning television producer.  He started his career as a news producer in 1992 at WAVE-TV, the NBC affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky, and he has spent the last eleven years at KTVI-TV, FOX 2 in St. Louis, Missouri.  In 2006, Joey moved from news to news promotion.  He currently is Executive Producer of KTVI's creative services department.  In addition to his two Emmy wins, Joey has received numerous Emmy nominations for his newscasts and coverage of special events such as Pope John Paul II's historic 1999 visit to the United States.  Joey earned a B.A. in Communications from Bellarmine College in Louisville.  He previously served on the board of directors for Challenge Metro, which provided a crisis hotline for St. Louis' gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community.  Joey is a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and he was bullied as a child.
